About – Restaurant & Hospitality Skillnet The Restaurant & Hospitality Skillnet was established in 2017 by the Restaurants Association of Ireland (RAI) to provide training to those working in restaurants and the wider hospitality industry, from owners to managers, head chefs to commis chefs, and front of house service staff. These courses help members up-skill their current workforce and train those new to their business. This allows each member company remain competitive, retain staff and ensure they have the necessary tools to stay relevant and deliver quality product and customer service in a very competitive industry. Network Aim The aim of the Restaurant & Hospitality Skillnet is to provide small one - day workshops, modular courses and online training to meet the needs of industry in an effective and relevant manner that is aligned with the strategic goal of Skillnet Ireland. Network Vision The networks vision is to be the go to training provider for the restaurant and hospitality industry. Programme overview Our new eLearning Standard Operating Procedures training programme is suitable for those who have are new to the accommodation department in a hotel setting and are looking upskill in the standard operating procedures. The programme can be completed at any time by the learner (All SOP's do not have to be completed in one sitting). The programme consists of a number of SOPs which are accompanied by demonstration videos and thorough explanations. The learner will test their knowledge at the end of each SOP.
